Policy
We don't get all narky about responsible drinking, but the
safety of the driver, the hostess, other passengers and the outside
public are
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO US.
If
there are any threats to their safety we need to remove the cause from
the bus. You are allowed to bring drinks onboard but we must insist
that they are served responsibly. If you show signs of being drunk,
we need to to take action to maximise safety. If you've come on board
to get drunk and vomit on our bus, you should go elsewhere or stay home
and do it on your carpet. So please be self responsible.
FAQ's
about drinking and the Karaoke Bus
Do we have iceboxes on board?- Yes
Does Karaoke Bus supply alcohol? - NO
Can we stop and buy some from a bottle shop?- Yes
Can we bring ICE? - Yes, or we can get ice for
you ($1 pp)
What do we do with the rubbish? - We can handle
that.
What if one of the passengers vomits? - We use
contract cleaners to clean the bus, the fees will be deducted from your
bond.
What is a passenger damages any equipment? We
deduct any repair charges from the bond, if the amounts exceed the bond
we will charge the booker at cost for the repair up to it's replacement
value, decisions to where we get the repairs are at our discretion.
The authorities may also need to be involved, and it also ends the charter.
What if a fight breaks out onboard the bus? - We
will remove the passengers from the bus, and as per MOT guidelines
we involve the Police immediately, the Police will order the charter
to cease on the spot or they may allow to get you straight home.
Can I bring my esky onboard? - a limit
of 3 eskys per charter, we have a little room but not a great deal.
What if my friend feeling sick on the bus? - We
have no option but to remove this person and a carer for everyone else's
comfort. You will need to organise a taxi, and your way home.
