No we don't normally take a bond.

With charters with a average age under 30 years old, we may insist you sign an indemnity form which covers us for all damage done to the bus, equipment or the business. This form clearly states that we do not tolerate bad behavior on or off the bus during our charters.

We also may request a passenger manifest with Names and phone numbers.
(Recommended for parents anyway)

Any booking where damages are made to the bus, equipment or the business may need to be paid for from the credit card supplied from the deposit. The booker may need to identify the offenders to us and the authorities.
Any incident will cause an immediate halt and possible cancellation to the charter.

A RECENT STORY...
We had a 21st party that was booked for 6 hours. In the first 2 hours, one of the guests caused an minor issue which involved the police. This effectively ended the charter as the Police stopped the charter from going further and we were ordered to take the group straight home. The offender was left with Police. Party ruined, and money lost.

What if we go overtime on the charter?

The 1st thing to do is to let us know. This happens more than we like, due to toilet stops, or not getting out of a hotel on time.

Our overtime rate is $160 per hour charged in 30 minute incriments after 20 mins overtime. You agree that if not paid on the night of the charter, that the credit card used to secure the booking can be used for this fee.

Best way is to keep your gang on time, or ask your driver to extend the charter. We maybe able to work something out.

What is the biggest tip from karaoke Bus?

Book early for Saturday nights, and sing closely into the microphones ?

Can we pickup other people (off the street) on the way?

 NO - for 3. big reasons. 1. They havent paid for their seat. &
2. It changes the dynamic of the night every time in them past, it has resulted in happy cutomers getting upset.
3. We don't know these people, they may just want to steal wallets.. So No! Please don't ask.

Can I bring my own alcohol on board?

Yes, within limits (more detail)

Do I get meals during the charter? - Yes, you can opt for our catering packages.

Do we do boys bux parties?

No, as a rule. (We find, that some of the boys like trouble and don't respect our rules. A small few have spoilt it for the many that would normally be fine- Sorry!)

We may do day time charters where we take the boys to an event like PAINTBALL or GO-KARTING, and let you have a few on the way back to the city.

Can we play games on-board?

 Yes - BUT We find that raffle type games and games that take a long time, actually STOP the flow of fun. So yes, we have a microphone for speeches and short games, but be aware that they want to party, not watch people chat.

Do you have any tours where anyone hops on?

 We have a Karaoke Ghost Tour  

Can I decorate the interior of the bus?

Yes, but we don't allow confetti or small decorations which require a large time for cleanup.

Can I smoke on the bus -

No (I'm a reformed smoker) and its against NSW state law.

What songs are available?

We have over 2500 songs, and 20 play lists. Download a PDF list here. Email selections to us and we can create your own play list before we travel.

Can we organise adult entertainment on the bus?

Yes - but we may need to drive around the corner. We also can book a male stripper for you. He dresses up like a police officer and pretends to book the bus for parking.

How long does it go for?

With a charter, you can have the bus as long as we are not double booked, and our drivers stick to legal driving limits. Most are 4-5 hours.

Do I need to book, and how long in advance?

First in best dressed... is our policy.

 Yes, about 2 weeks ahead is good, but with Friday & Saturday nights we may be booked 6 months in advance. So its advised to book early and secure your charter with a deposit. We work on the 1st paid deposit gets the booking

What is your cancellation policy?

We need to set it at 3 weeks so we get a chance of selling the date that's been cancelled.

Our Cancellation policy.
We refund the paid deposit up to 21 days out from original booked date. Less a booking fee of $40.00
Under 21 days loses any money paid to Karaoke Bus.
Bookings cancelled or NO SHOW on the day are billed at the full rate from the credit card used on the deposit, or similar means of retrieval.

Tickets are transferable to another date but not refundable.

I got a quote from another party bus, why are they so much more expensive?

Stick with the orginal and the best fun and value for money. Karaoke Bus!

 The (so called) Mystery Fun Bus.
Have started to advertise that they do Karaoke.They actually don't own a bus, nor are they a Ministry of Transport accreditted Charter company, so they have to pay a company like ours for the use of the bus, then they add their cost + their profit on top of that.
The Mystery is hitting a few golf balls at Moore Park , having a 10 pin bowl at an alley in Randwick and guessing some TV themes. Woo hoo. As to the Karaoke, you may sing a song or two. Ask Peter where he got his Karaoke Files from! Hmmm.. Karaoke Bus refuse to do any Mystery Fun Bus work.

Other party buses doing Karaoke (original arent't they) seem to think that $85 per person is reasonable, yeah maybe for 10 people!

 Yep! - Send the singles ones to the front. There are a couple of poles for your dancing and bus drivers pleasure.

What if I need more than 45 people

 Karaoke Bus has an alliance with Simon from The Brit Stop for an extra bus without karaoke.

I have a business idea that will involve the bus. Is this available?

It' a little hard to give charters an exact cost to you, but as a yard stick allow minimum 30 people @ $40pp and dependent on extras like hours, distance, ice, catering and bonds to cover breakage's and cleaning etc.
